to access the self-paced modules.
License law requires all licensees to take 15 hours of continuing education every 2 years in order to renew a license. Of these 15
(fifteen) hours, 3 (three) hours must be the mandatory Risk Management Course; That Delicate Balance (see course below). The
remaining 12 hours can be any approved elective. All of the courses offered by The Career Academy of Real Estate carry the appropriate
approvals.

This course gives you the importance of a business plan, shows you steps to design your business plan, prepare goals, prepare a financial plan, and create a budget and let's you recognize strategies that will increase your success in real estate.

If you are a member of NAR, you must take this course every 4 years and some local boards require it be taken by their members every 2 years. If you are not certain when you last took Code of Ethics, call your local board of realtors. It is not a course that is required by the Alabama Real Estate Commission, however you will receive 3 hours elective CE credit.

In addition, the Americans with Disabilities Act will be discussed to assist you in providing services to anyone covered by this act.

This course will emphasis the importance of being organized in your real estate business and will cover, in detail, how to organize your client files both for buyers and sellers and will include sample forms and checklists. In addition, you will learn how to keep in touch with your clients during and after the transaction.
This course also emphasizes the importance of building a referral-based business and you will be given tools on how to do this. You will hear tips on how to organize your car and the tools necessary to turn your car into your office. Tips on how to organize various areas of your home will also be discussed.

With an astronomical increase in foreclosures, learn to recognize the pitfalls leading to foreclosures.
How can we advise buyer clients to recognize and stay out of these financial situations which could easily lead to future foreclosures?

Understanding agency in your every day practice of real estate is essential to providing the best and correct service. This course takes the mystery out of agency and RECAD. It is filled with great tips on how to present the agency disclosure form, explaining our RECAD law and rules without scaring away consumers. Learn how to explain the disclosure in a manner that will allow you to know what services are important to the consumer so you can identify the correct way to work with your buyers and sellers.
