License law requires all licensees to take 15 hours of continuing education every 2 years in order to renew a license. Of these 15 (fifteen) hours, 3 (three) hours must be the mandatory Risk Management Course; Red Flags and Paper Trails (see course below). The remaining 12 hours can be any approved elective. All of the courses offered by The Career Academy of Real Estate carry the appropriate approvals.

Code of Ethics

If you are a member of NAR, you must take this course every 4 years and some local boards require it be taken by their members every 2 years. If you are not certain when you last took Code of Ethics, call your local board of realtors. It is not a course that is required by the Alabama Real Estate Commission, however you will receive 3 hours elective CE credit.
